Consent to donate organs assumed in WalesOver-18s will have to opt out from the organ donor register if they do not want to their organs to be used in transplants from today. A change in law in Wales gives doctors the right to assume that all adults consent to be organ donors after their death. The British Medical Association and the British Heart Foundation has called for England to follow the Welsh lead.
