A daughter is battling her stepmother over her father’s estate after being left nothing in his will. Danielle Ames says her father doted on her and had promised her an inheritance. However, the stepmother, Elaine Ames, claims Michael Leslie Ames deliberately cut his daughter out of any inheritance because he believed adult children should be self-sufficient. Danielle is seeking £300,000 as “reasonable provision” from the estate
