Lawyers unhappier than Scots on the dole

Jobless Scots are happier than lawyersJobless Scots are happier than those currently working in the legal sector, according to new research. The Happiness Index, assigns a score between 100 and -100 to quantify personal happiness. It has been created by the Bank of Scotland and YouGov and looked at how factors such as employment and how people travel to and from work affect their happiness. People who are unemployed scored +16.92 on the index, which was marginally higher than the +16.63 recorded for those working in law or the legal services. People employed in the arts, entertainment and recreation were found to be happiest, with a score of +57.92.
